What are my responsibilities?

• Software development activities in the industrial domain, including design, implementation, documentation, and testing.
• Contribution to solution architectures, requirements elicitation, and development process improvements.
• Create and enforce security policies and best practices, shaping the security posture of Linux environments.
• Design and implement secure technologies, enhancing security architecture.
• Identify, assess, and address security risks in Linux environments, ensuring system safety and stability.
• Conform to Siemens processes, quality standards, and guidelines.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• BSc., MSc., or PhD. in computer science or a related field.
• Proven 3+ years of experience in software development.
• Excellent understanding of security elements of Linux-based systems (e.g., Auditd, SELinux, Systemd, Namespaces, KASLR, LUKS, Seccomp, IPSec, BPF/nftables).
• Experience with compliance standards (Common Criteria, FIPS, IEC62443, Zero Trust Architecture).
• Solid understanding of EU regulations (GDPR, CRA).
• Knowledge of hardware security modules (TPM2, TrustZone, Op-Tee).
• Deep understanding of Linux Kernel, OS internals, open-source tools, and libraries.
• Experience with git repositories and CI/CD systems.
• Familiarity with SCRUM and Agile methodologies is a plus.
• Proficiency in English; German is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• No restrictions for international travel.
