Job summary

Çiçeksepeti, a fast-growing technology-driven celebrations company in Türkiye, seeks a highly skilled Legal Counsel / Senior Legal Counsel to guide corporate, commercial, e-commerce, consumer protection, and data privacy matters with strategic insight.

You will draft and negotiate vendor and partnership agreements, ensure regulatory compliance, advise on governance and risk, and collaborate with external advisors to support product teams in a dynamic, innovation-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in law from a reputable university.
• 4 to 7 years of experience in a corporate legal role, preferably within the e-commerce, technology, or retail sectors.
• Strong expertise in commercial law, data protection law, consumer protection regulations, and corporate governance.
• Experience in contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Experience in e-commerce is a strong asset.
• Familiarity with technology-driven businesses and digital platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice on corporate, commercial, e-commerce, consumer protection, and data privacy matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including vendor agreements, partnership agreements, and terms of service.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations , including competition law and e-commerce regulations.
• Advise on corporate governance, risk management, and regulatory matters , including interactions with government agencies.
• Collaborate with external legal advisors and regulatory bodies when necessary.
• Conduct legal research , draft reports, and prepare legal opinions to support business and product teams.
• Provide strategic legal input on new business models, product launches, and operational decisions.
• Stay up to date with legal and regulatory changes affecting the e-commerce and technology industries.
• Deliver training and guidance to internal teams on legal best practices and compliance.
