Vertigo Games in Istanbul is seeking a passionate Game Developer to join our on-site team at Levent. You will help build high-quality PvP experiences and contribute across the full game development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of Unity and C# expertise, a strong ability to profile and optimize on Android and iOS, and a collaborative mindset to solve challenging real-time multiplayer problems with the team.

Qualifications

We're now looking for a passionate Game Developer to join our dynamic team in Istanbul. This is an on-site role, requiring you to work 5 days a week from our office in Levent.

In this role, we deeply care about your passion for building high-quality PvP experiences. We highly encourage you to get familiar with both of our games before you apply and complete your application only if you're genuinely excited to create responsive gameplay, tackle real-time multiplayer challenges, and deliver competitive experiences that millions of players can enjoy every day.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to all aspects of game development.


• Write clean, reusable and optimized code to be used by millions of players.


• Solve complex technical problems with analytical solutions.


• Participate in code-review sessions.

Requirements

• (Ideally 3+ years of professional) Game development experience in Unity and C#


• Ability to profile and optimize performance on Android and iOS


• Ability to quickly get up to speed with existing code and find solutions to technical problems as a team


• Awareness of and ability to leverage industry best practices and solutions and apply the right solution for a given problem


• Must be capable of driving the implementation of a feature or fix with clear ways to communicate to other team members and areas of work, as GD, Art ,and PM


• Deep knowledge of a fundamental Unity pipeline or tool, such as Asset management, UI, or Networking


• Understanding of mobile gaming industries and their main characteristics, like FPS and LiveOps


• Deep understanding of the mobile platforms and their specific requirements.


• Strong skills in writing maintainable, scalable, and modular code, with knowledge of SOLID principles, design patterns, and best practices in Unity.


• Excellent understanding of software architecture, design, and development.


• Apart from technology and programming language, having strong object-oriented skills including design, coding, and testing patterns


• Eager to search/discuss new technologies


• Having analytical, practical problem-solving skills
