Job summary

Ministry of CRM is seeking a senior engineer to take end-to-end technical ownership of a portfolio of internal and client-facing applications and the AWS infrastructure behind them.

You’ll build and maintain React and Next.js applications, structured Node.js services, PostgreSQL databases, CI/CD pipelines, and production services across AWS. You’ll also receive structured training in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, and the specialist technologies behind modern CRM operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering with production ownership.
• Strong experience with React and Next.js.
• Practical AWS ownership with EC2, Cognito, S3 and SES.
• CI/CD, GitHub and production deployment experience.
• Clear written and spoken English, solid documentation habits.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end ownership of a portfolio of applications and AWS infrastructure.
• Build and maintain React and Next.js applications, and Node.js services.
• Manage deployments, access controls, incident response and recovery runbooks.
• Design and maintain PostgreSQL schemas and migrations.
• Develop APIs, reporting pipelines and automation; write technical docs.

Ministry of CRM is looking for a senior engineer to take end-to-end technical ownership of a portfolio of internal and client-facing applications and the AWS infrastructure behind them.

You’ll build and maintain React and Next.js applications, structured Node.js services, PostgreSQL databases, CI/CD pipelines, and production services across AWS. You’ll also receive structured training in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, and the specialist technologies behind modern CRM operations.

Candidates must be able to independently manage and troubleshoot an existing AWS production stack. Experience limited to deploying through a managed platform or consuming preconfigured AWS services will not be sufficient.

What you’ll own

• AWS production operations across EC2, Cognito, S3 and SES
• Application deployments, configuration, access controls, authentication and incident response
• React, Next.js and TypeScript product development
• Node.js backend services, PostgreSQL schemas and database migrations
• GitHub Actions pipelines, build validation and deployment workflows
• APIs, integrations, reporting pipelines and automation
• Technical documentation, recovery runbooks and engineering quality

You’ll bring

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with production ownership
• Strong React and Next.js experience
• Practical AWS ownership with EC2, Cognito, S3 and SES
• CI/CD, GitHub and production deployment experience
• Clear written and spoken English, sound documentation habits, and calm operational judgement

Previous Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Braze experience is useful, but not required. We provide structured training in SFMC, Braze, AMPscript, SSJS, CloudPages, journey automation and CRM data operations.
