Job summary

Avenga is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer (React) to build scalable React and Next.js applications for a US-based restaurant tech product. You’ll design, develop, and maintain client-facing platforms used at scale, collaborating with cross-functional teams across the company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial Front-End development experience.
• Strong React and Next.js experience in recent projects.
• Experience with Node.js, NPM, Vite, Git, and CI/CD.
• Experience with front-end state management solutions.
• Experience building and maintaining client-facing APIs and SDKs.
• Experience writing automated tests (unit, component, integration, and end-to-end).
• Solid understanding of front-end architecture and design patterns.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable React and Next.js apps used by millions.
• Build clean, maintainable, and well-tested front-end solutions.
• Develop and maintain customer-facing APIs and SDKs.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, back-end engineers, and UX teams to deliver new features.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Provide constructive feedback and incorporate input from others.
• Take ownership of features throughout development lifecycle.
• Work effectively in a small, collaborative team.
