Job summary

The Flex is building the next generation of flexible accommodation, operating properties across cities and countries with hospitality, technology and operations. We seek a Senior Finance Analyst to own critical financial processes, analyze performance, and help the company scale globally.

You will work across accounting, financial analysis, reporting, budgeting and business performance, with visibility to operations, revenue, and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Highly analytical and comfortable working with numbers.
• Exceptional attention to detail and an uncompromising commitment to accuracy.
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles.
• Comfortable working with large volumes of financial and operational data.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Strong reconciliation, financial control and problem-solving skills.
• Commercial mindset — you understand what numbers mean for the business.
• High ownership and accountability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to engage senior management.
• Experience in FP&A, hospitality, real estate or high-growth startups is valued.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve day-to-day financial reporting and controls.
• Identify manual processes and work with engineering to automate them.
• Reconcile payments from multiple channels and ensure timely receipts.
• Reconcile bank accounts and incoming payments; resolve discrepancies.
• Track accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Review supplier invoices and company expenses.
• Support statutory filings and tax compliance across jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with external accountants, tax advisers, auditors and banks.
• Build dashboards and reporting for management visibility.
• Analyze financial performance by property, city, country and unit.
• Build budgets, forecasts and financial models.
• Monitor cash flow and plan capital needs.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and margin improvements.
• Support due diligence for acquisitions and new market launches.
• Present insights to founders and leadership.
