IPEKYOL GROUP seeks a Senior Fashion Designer for Machka to lead design development and collection creation, aligning with global fashion trends. This role requires strong pattern making, fabric knowledge, and English proficiency, with travel as needed.

You will collaborate closely with production teams, participate in fittings, and contribute to trend-driven designs at our Head Office in Turkey. Experience in fast-paced environments is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Fashion Design, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional fashion design experience.
• Strong technical drawing skills.
• Creative mindset with strong aesthetic sense.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Advanced pattern making, garment construction, fabrics.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in English.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Willingness and availability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Follow global fashion trends, industry developments, and innovations.
• Select fabric patterns and support production processes.
• Contribute actively to product development and collection creation.
• Participate in fitting sessions and finalize designs.
• Analyze fabric samples from trade fairs and organize samples by price groups.
• Prepare visual R&D files to support collection development.
• Visit trade fairs and conduct R&D with suppliers on processes, lace, and accessories; maintain an archive.
• Follow up on developed prints, embroidery, and accessories.
• Support collection theme development and data-entry checks.

QUALIFICATIONS

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Following global fashion trends, industry developments, and innovations closely,
• Selecting fabric patterns and supporting the production process,
• Taking an active role in product development and collection creation processes,
• Participating in fitting sessions and contributing to the finalization of designs,
• Analyzing fabric samples received after trade fair visits, determining fabric groups, supporting pricing processes, and organizing samples according to price groups,
• Preparing visual R&D files to support collection development processes,
• Visiting trade fairs and conducting R&D studies with suppliers on general processes, lace, and accessories, while maintaining an archive,
• Following up on developed prints, embroidery, and accessories,
• Supporting the collection theme development process and checking data entries.
