Job summary

Sibelco is seeking a Senior Engineer Automation Actions to lead automation and digitalization at our Ali Pasa facility. You will program, optimize, maintain, and repair plant control systems and guide colleagues on improvement projects to move operations forward.

The role requires a degree in engineering and 3–4 years in automation projects with field instruments, experience with SCADA InTouch and Siemens PLC, and proficiency in SAP S4 Hana, Excel, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Engineering (Automation, Electrical, Programming, Instrument, Computer, etc.)
• 3-4 years of professional experience in automation projects with field instruments
• Experience with SCADA InTouch and Siemens PLC is imperative
• Knowledge of mining/mineral processing is an advantage
• Fluency in English and Turkish is a must

Responsibilities

• Lead Automation & Digitalization activities and ensure regulatory compliance
• Drive continuous improvement by researching new ideas for cost‑effective systems
• Stay up to date with new engineering technologies, including AI tools
• Act as interface to Central Digitalization and Automation Team
• Maintain and repair automation systems, instrumentation per procedures
• Diagnose faults in PLCs, DCS, and SCADA; calibrate instruments
• Coordinate with Contractors and site teams on projects
