Job summary

BlueCloud is seeking an experienced DevOps Security Engineering contractor to build and operate foundational security and reliability tooling for client engineering teams. The role blends security best practices, cloud engineering, and DevOps automation to ensure secure, scalable, and highly available platforms.

The Trust Infra team focuses on secrets management, identity, cryptography, and certificate workloads within Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years deploying Kubernetes and security workloads in production.
• Deep Kubernetes resource management, Helm templating, and operator patterns.
• Experience with observability: Prometheus, Grafana, tracing systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security-focused tooling for provisioning and guardrails.
• Collaborate with security, SRE, and platform teams to embed trust principles across the lifecycle.
• Manage secrets, certificates, and identity/auth controls.
• Lead AWS-native infrastructure design for secure, scalable services.
• Automate deployments with Terraform and Kubernetes patterns.
