Job summary

iyzico in Istanbul is hiring a Compliance Officer to join our growing team. You will handle MASAK-related regulatory work, support Know Your Customer controls, and contribute to internal policy updates while ensuring rigorous risk management across platforms.

The role requires 4–6 years in Banking or Payment Institutions, with strong English, reporting, and stakeholder skills. You will train colleagues and coordinate audits with global teams to sustain compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Economics, Business Administration, Political Science, or related fields.
• 4–6 years of compliance experience in Banking, Payment Institutions, or Electronic Money Institutions
• Holding a valid MASAK Compliance Officer License
• Strong knowledge of MASAK regulations, AML/KYC, and sanctions screening and monitoring processes
• Familiarity with international sanctions lists (OFAC, EU, UN, etc.) and sanctions screening tools and systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a risk-oriented mindset and attention to detail
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative team-oriented approach

Responsibilities

• Support suspicious transaction analysis processes by gathering and preparing the necessary data and documentation
• Perform operational controls and reviews related to Know Your Customer (KYC) processes
• Monitor regulatory updates from MASAK, CBRT, and other regulatory authorities and contribute to updating compliance processes accordingly
• Support the implementation and monitoring of internal compliance policies, procedures, and workflows across operational teams
• Actively contribute to preparing documentation and reports required for internal and external audit processes
• Respond to MASAK information requests and audit requirements in a timely manner and ensure appropriate follow-up
• Plan and track annual compliance training programs and deliver face-to-face training to new hires
• Prepare presentations and coordinate the necessary preparations for committees and meetings involving senior management
• Collaborate with global teams on inquiries, proposals, and annual risk assessments, providing strategic guidance and driving value-adding initiatives

Key Responsibilities
