About us

Starting with a triple launch, Dyson has been investing to grow in the Turkish market across Floor Care, Hair Care, and Environmental Care categories. The company began with a small leadership team and full support from the Regional Hub and Group, and is now a growing company with an energetic and passionate environment.

About the role

The Senior Category Marketing Manager (Home Care) will lead the development and deployment of strategic marketing plans for Floor Care, Audio, Environmental Care, Lighting, and Professional Categories, managing two direct reports: Category Manager for Floor Care, and Category Managers for Audio, Environmental Care, Lighting, and Professional (B2B). Reporting directly to the Marketing Director and working alongside the Country Sales Team, you will act as the primary contact for local marketing teams across these categories. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and timely execution of all activities to meet the P&L objectives. This role requires managing your own project plans and timelines in a fast-paced, autonomous environment. It offers an excellent opportunity for a hands-on marketer to apply a broad skill set in a strategic role, contributing to market growth in Turkey.

Main Responsibilities
  • Define target consumer segments and develop propositions and programs to drive business within them.
  • Conduct competitor and market analysis to develop counter strategies and initiatives.
  • Deliver marketing activity programs, including new product launches, advertising, media planning, channel strategies, PR, POS, and promotions.
  • Manage key external agencies such as global group commercial teams, creative agencies, and media agencies.
  • Plan and execute media campaigns, exploring innovative channels for maximum impact.
  • Manage marketing budgets, ensuring accurate reporting and spend control.
  • Develop and execute effective brand communications across TV, print, and digital media.
  • Coordinate with global teams to ensure alignment and consistency across markets.
  • Lead and deliver NPD launch plans for the categories.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to build and execute joint business plans with strategic retail partners.
  • Guide category trading plans and analyze market performance against KPIs with regular reporting.
  • Engage in range planning to maximize long-term profitability and develop product differentiation strategies across sales channels.
  • Act as the brand guardian in Turkey, ensuring all activities align with Dyson’s global direction.
  • Travel regularly to market to oversee activities and ensure success.
  • Leverage internal resources to optimize plans, assets, and support.
  • Lead category development efforts, acting as the strategic point of contact and chairing bi-weekly meetings with Group Commercial Category Managers.
About you
  • 12+ years of experience in marketing as a Category or Brand Manager.
  • Fluent in Turkish and English.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to multitask.
  • Self-starter comfortable working independently.
  • Natural leader with a strategic vision, yet hands-on when needed.
