Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior BI Analyst to lead data-driven transformation across multiple domains. You will design and maintain dashboards, drive data migration and modernization (ETL, data extraction, transformation, loading), and collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to turn requirements into actionable insights.

The role requires 5+ years in data projects, strong SQL data profiling, and experience with BI tools like Power BI and Tableau. Excellent communication in English (B2+).

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data-related projects (data migration, BI, AI, etc.).
• 3+ years handling BI, DWH, data/analytic requirements (gathering, documenting, estimating).
• Proficient in end-to-end data/analytics project delivery using Agile and Waterfall.
• Experience with large datasets and data profiling using SQL.
• Strong understanding of DWH fundamentals, data modeling and data quality.
• Proficiency in preparing source-to-target mappings for data ingestion and curation.
• Experience in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) for data transformation and visualization.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design, development, and maintenance of dashboards and reports following visualization best practices.
• Collaborate on end-to-end data migration and modernization projects, including ETL, data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Lead meetings and workshops with clients to define and prioritize business needs.
• Translate requirements into insights and collaborate with delivery team throughout project lifecycle.
• Perform data discovery, assessment, and profiling using SQL queries.
• Prepare source-to-target mappings, data models, and data flows.
• Define and organize backlogs with epics, features, and stories; participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing with customer stakeholders.
• Prepare high-quality post-development and post-production materials.
• Monitor and ensure quality and reliability of deliverables.
