Job summary

AppNation is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) to design, build, and evolve backend systems powering AI-driven mobile apps used globally. You’ll own features end-to-end, design distributed workflows, and integrate with AI platforms.

You will work with PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services to deliver reliable, scalable services with strong production readiness and observability.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with backend systems.
• Strong hands-on ownership of production services and APIs.
• Proficient in Node.js and TypeScript across scalable backends.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Own features from design through testing, deployment, and production readiness.
• Implement reliable distributed workflows and integrate AI capabilities.
