Job summary

Baytek Software Development Corp. seeks a hands-on Senior Azure Software Engineer to design, build, and deploy a cloud-native integration platform connecting enterprise apps, on-prem systems, and third-party APIs.

You will work with a US-based team to implement secure, scalable Azure-based solutions in a remote, enterprise environment. You will lead API development, messaging, identity, and CI/CD, ensuring production-quality software and robust observability.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and modern .NET (.NET Core / .NET 6+).
• Production experience with Azure Functions and Azure Service Bus.
• Hands-on experience with Azure API Management and Azure security features.
• Experience integrating on-premises systems with Azure cloud services.
• Experience building/consuming REST and OData APIs for enterprise data sources.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring, and operational diagnostics in Azure environments.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; comfortable collaborating with a US-based team.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop cloud-native integration components using .NET and Azure PaaS technologies.
• Build reliable, scalable integration workflows with Azure Service Bus, including queues and retries.
• Develop Azure Functions for data acquisition, transformation, routing, and delivery.
• Build, secure, and manage APIs using Azure API Management (APIM).
• Implement secure authentication and authorization using Microsoft Entra ID and managed identities.
• Develop secure integrations between on-premises systems, Azure services, and external APIs.
• Create REST and OData APIs for enterprise data sources and large datasets.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Azure applications and infrastructure.
• Implement externalized configuration, logging, monitoring, and diagnostics.
• Write clean, well-tested C#/.NET code and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and domain experts to translate requirements into working software.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and deliver in sprints.
