Job summary

Seluz Fragrance & Flavor Company in Istanbul is seeking an experienced Application Technologist for Sweet Goods & Bakery to translate flavor concepts into finished-product applications. You will develop and optimize flavor applications, support customers, and collaborate with Flavorists, Sales, Marketing and R&D.

The role requires a strong background in sweet goods, bakery flavors, English proficiency, and at least 3 years in food applications, product development or technical customer support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering and a Master’s degree in Food Science or Food Technology is a plus.
• Strong specialization in Sweet Goods and Bakery applications.
• Good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize flavor applications for sweet goods and bakery products.
• Develop new recipes and reformulate existing ones for sweet goods and bakery categories.
• Prepare prototypes and finished-product applications for customer presentations and innovation projects.
• Provide technical application support to customers and internal teams.
• Collaborate with customers on new product development and flavor optimization projects.
• Recommend flavors and dosage levels according to product matrices and manufacturing conditions.
• Troubleshoot flavor performance and application-related challenges.
• Evaluate flavor performance under different food matrices and processing conditions.
• Collaborate with Flavorists, Sales, Marketing and R&D on customer briefs and innovation projects.
• Support customer visits, technical presentations and workshops.
• Follow market developments and trends within sweet goods and bakery.
