Job description

Responsibilities

1. Analyzing system design regarding antenna requirements.
2. Determining antenna topology based on system design.
3. Design and implementation of antennas on cubesat/user equipment and ground station platforms.
4. Conducting antenna measurements and contacting test centers regarding antenna measurements.
5. Deep intuitive understanding of antenna response with respect to platform, navigational and environmental parameters.
6. Support in link budget and communication channel design.
7. Support in cubesat navigation design.
8. Support in mechanical design and antenna placement.
9. Support in ground station construction and placement.
10. Support in selecting/defining antenna measurement environments in new facilities.

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree from Electrical Electronics Engineering, Electronics Communication Engineering departments.
2. M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree is a plus.
3. At least 8 years of experience in antenna design.
4. Knowledge in several antenna designs including patch antennas, turnstile antennas, helical antennas, and parabolic reflector antennas.
5. Experience in antenna measurements in anechoic chamber, near field chamber, and open region.
6. Experience in antenna manufacturing.
7. Experience in wireless communications and satellite communications is a plus.
8. Experience in antenna designs on high-ε substrates is a plus.
9. Experience and deep understanding of phased array systems is preferred.
10. Knowledge and experience in Cadence, CST (or similar), AWR MWO, MATLAB and laboratory measurement devices (Network, spectrum analyzer, etc.).
11. Have foresight about trends in digital communication and antennas.
12. Open to research.
