In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Establish and maintain the general accounting reporting and practices for affiliated entities.
• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare and review journal entries for properly stated ledgers and financial statements in accordance with regulations (e.g., GAAP) and company policy.
• Perform bookkeeping and account management duties.
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
• Conduct month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Support internal and external auditors.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly tax declarations on time.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Minimum of 3–4 years of experience as a General Accountant, with a strong focus on statutory legislation.
• Knowledge of Turkish GAAP principles and Turkish chart of accounts.
• Proactive, highly motivated, and flexible.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Audit background and US GAAP knowledge are a plus.
• Preferably English as a second language.
