Descrição do papel

A posição Scientific Engagement Partner is a key, field-based Medical Affairs role that develops broad medical & scientific expertise within given Disease/Therapeutic Areas (Breast Cancer). Moving beyond standard scientific exchange, you leverage convincing clinical engagement to build solid scientific belief among Therapeutic Area Experts (TAEs) and guide the appropriate integration of our innovative therapies into clinical practice. This role requires acting as a scientific catalyst with clinicians through convincing clinical engagement, acting as a bridge to overcome barriers in the patient journey and ensuring the appropriate scientific understanding of our innovative molecules. The Scientific Engagement Partner contributes to the disease area medical strategy in collaboration with the disease area Medical Lead and prepares/executes a regional medical plan in line with this medical strategy. The role is expected to ensure medical/scientific expertise and independence from promotional objectives in all their decisions.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • Common Responsibilities Allocate approximately 80% of working time to direct field engagements. Develop and execute structured Regional Account Plans and territory strategies. Conduct strategic scientific profiling, segmentation, and mapping of key centers and TAEs to build sustainable, long-term scientific partnerships and deliver tailored, high-impact clinical interactions. Collaborate with oncologists, clinical pharmacists, and oncology nurses to provide peer-to-peer educational support on administration protocols, patient management best practices, and the clinical/operational rationale for subcutaneous formulations, ensuring seamless integration into daily hospital workflows Establish early scientific foundations for upcoming pipeline molecules by mapping key referral networks, communicating complex clinical rationale to key centers, and preparing the medical ecosystem for novel therapeutic paradigms well ahead of commercial availability Serve as a medical resource to help HCPs navigate non-standard or early-access channels by providing compliant scientific data and clear medical guidance to address urgent, unmet patient needs Identify unmet medical needs within the current treatment landscape. Leverage compelling clinical evidence to create a sense of scientific urgency, shift clinical mindsets, and accelerate the appropriate clinical integration of innovative therapies. Help identify physician practices, needs, preferences, and views of the current treatment landscape. Utilize strong clinical engagement skills to establish scientific belief in innovative molecules and serve as a scientific bridge for their appropriate integration into clinical practice. Establish long-term, peer-to-peer relationships with TAEs and investigators in a given therapeutic field and deliver quality interactions and services that bring value to physicians, and that are aligned with Roche strategies. By overseeing the patient journey, act as a system thinker to identify shared purpose among stakeholders and leverage this to co-create solutions with stakeholders in the ecosystem. Collect insights from TAEs during clinical visits and scientific activities in the responsibility area and share these insights with relevant units. Have high medical competence, to understand current medical knowledge and marketing strategy. Keep their information up to date at all times through internal trainings and independent scientific resources in a responsibility therapeutic area. Cooperate closely with Disease Area Medical Lead in medical processes to support product teams in a given therapeutic area (preparing a medical presentation, etc.) and support implementation of planned actions (advisory board, regional / national / international scientific activities, digital medical projects, etc.). Respond to unsolicited written questions from HCPs in accordance with local laws, regulations and codes and Roche SOPs, facilitate their needs of up to date scientific data by ensuring they have the best quality available information they require.
  • Other Responsibilities Understand and act in line with legal, regulatory and company standards and codes of practice (such as Roche Code of Conduct and any other directives, SOPs and guidelines) and apply them to his/her daily practice. Act entirely in compliance with Competition Law and Roche Code Of Conduct in carrying out all duties. Take necessary precautions for adherence to legislative requirements (Regulation on The Promotional Activities for Medicinal Products for Human Use, Law on the Protection of Personal Data and industry code requirements on promotion and ethics). Ensure that any kind of personal data of the patients shall not be accessed; in case any exceptional situation occurs, all kinds of patient data shall be kept in compliance with local privacy regulations and the Company privacy rules/principles. Follow up on Environment, Health and Safety issues; abide by the related policies and attend related trainings when necessary.
Qualifications/Experience

Medicine, pharmacy, or dentistry degree Fluency in Turkish and English Field experience is preferred Proven capability in strategic account planning, long-term TAE partnership building, and data-driven territory segmentation Demonstrated ability to drive scientific urgency, challenge the status quo, and shift clinical behavior through robust and convincing scientific discourse. Strong, convincing communication and clinical engagement skills capable of creating scientific belief and delivering clinical value to physicians. Proven capability in field planning, territory management, and data-driven TAE segmentation. Strong skills for digital engagement & communication Strategic thinking and agile approach focusing on improvement and solutions System thinker and deep listener Lead mindset leveraging the internal and external networks to create value Growth mindset, able to learn and unlearn quickly, take risks and experiment Collaborative and experienced in stakeholder management A robust ethical mindset and a good understanding of relevant compliance principles and regulations
