Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking an SAP Technical Engineering Manager to lead a team in SAP Basis and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Administration in Turkey. This role requires a strong leader with at least 7 years of experience in SAP BTP administration and a deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA and related technologies.

You will be responsible for overseeing SAP operations, building relationships with stakeholders, and managing projects using SAP Activate methodology. Strong technical and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this position.

We seek an SAP Technical Engineering Manager to lead our expert team in SAP Basis/SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of SAP experts, providing direction and overwatching all SAP Basis/SAP BTP operations
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment across all departments
• Craft proposals and prepare statements of work for SAP projects, collaborating closely with IT teams and business stakeholders
• Design and implement high-performance technical solutions in SAP Basis/BTP
• Manage projects using SAP Activate methodology, encompassing everything from inception to post-production support
• Maintain expert-level knowledge in SAP Basis and BTP, ensuring adherence to best practices and overseeing system upgrades, installations and configurations
• Administer and optimize SAP landscapes for performance, security and stability
• Promptly troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues, driving compliance with company policies through regular system audits

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
• At least 7 years of proven experience in SAP Basis and SAP BTP administration, ideally in a managerial role
• Deep-rooted knowledge in SAP system administration, with specific expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA and SAP BTP
• Expertise in troubleshooting complex technical issues
• Outstanding leadership skills accompanied by first‑rate communication and interpersonal abilities and a forward‑thinking approach to technological innovation
