Job description

Prolink is a TD Synnex Company. Responsibilities:
  • Build Excellent customer and vendor sales relationships through proactive engagement and demonstrable specialist product knowledge subject to clear managerial direction

  • Generate new business opportunities by planning outbound calls to customers. Can have a detailed conversation with customers on solution and identify opportunities to involve the right people in the company

  • Achieve quarterly Revenue and Margin targets

  • Proactively develop relationships with key internal and external contacts

  • Engages in active selling by gathering relevant internal and external customer information and develops short, medium and long term activities to drive appropriate customer engagements

  • Provide, sell and negotiate product information, pricing, special offers and promotions

  • Develops partner relationship (incl. account planning, cross-selling etc.)

  • Identifies project opportunities and engages with technical team

  • Drives sales of specific products/ vendors if specific knowledge is required

  • Provides accurate and timely quotations

  • Generate and own a pipeline of deals in Prolink CRM system, which is regularly reviewed and updated and ensure active closure of opportunities

  • Manage customer backorder expectations and reporting

  • Ensure CRM system is well maintained and provides correct customer information

Knowledge Skills and Experience
  • Ba degree

  • 2-7 years of experience

  • English knowledge (both written and spoken)

  • Numerate with good attention to detail

  • Strive to achieve set targets

  • Understands Sales Process

  • Effective Communication Skills

  • Good relationship building

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

  • Ideal candidates will have previous experience of IT systems for quotation, order entry, SAP

  • A knowledge of product set would be desirable but not essential

  • IT industry knowledge would be desirable but not essential
