Sales Executive Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Analyzing local market trends and competitor activity to identify new business leads.
  2. Developing customer accounts and traveling within the local area to drive business into the hotel/cluster, increasing market share across all revenue streams.
  3. Negotiating room rates and packages with corporate clients.
  4. Developing and implementing creative local marketing channels, including social media.
  5. Preparing company contracts in accordance with current business and pricing conditions.
  6. Working within current business strategies and recognizing potential opportunities.
  7. Collaborating with other hotel departments to enhance guest experience and build comprehensive sales programs.
  8. Attending sales events as required.
  9. Producing accurate and timely reports for the Sales Director and senior management, including appointments, calls, and business leads.
  10. Responding promptly and professionally to customer queries.
  11. Maintaining a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
  12. Delivering high levels of customer service.
  13. Adhering to grooming standards and demonstrating flexibility in various work situations.
  14. Working effectively under pressure and independently.
  15. Having proven experience in a sales role with a successful track record of closing sales.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Knowledge of the local market.
  • Understanding of the hospitality industry.
