FMC HR is looking for a Sales Engineer for the subsidiary of our Italian client Rossi S.p.A., a world leader in the manufacture of gear reducers, gearmotors and electric motors. Reporting to the Sales Manager in Türkiye, this role requires a self-motivated individual who can work autonomously to drive the development of our client’s business in the region under his/her responsibility (Marmara and Western Black Sea). The position will be based in Istanbul-Gebze area and work from home office.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop long-term relationships with both existing and potential customers from different industries by regular personal visits in the region
• Understand the customers’ needs, determine the products, propose solutions for different applications
• Prepare quotations including custom-made solutions
• Be the first point of contact for customers regarding all technical and commercial issues
• Support and coordinate with the dealers
• Prepare regular reports on sales activities
• Analyse the competitive landscape

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Bachelor\'s degree in mechanical engineering or a similar field is a must
• Technical background in gearbox or mechanical power transmission
• Solid track record in managing customer relations and sales process in the manufacturing industry
• Strong negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills
• Good follow up ability, customer-oriented, and eager to succeed with a hands-on approach
• Ability to work both in a team and alone
• Fluency in Turkish and English is a must
• Willingness to travel, active driver
• Residing in Istanbul or Gebze
