Altan Hidrolik is a leading fluid conveyance products and systems provider mainly operating in the Automotive, Off-Highway and Defense industries. With over 35 years of engineering and manufacturing expertise, we deliver bespoke fluid conveyance solutions to our global partners. We are seeking a Sales Engineer to join our Sales Department. In this role, you will focus on identifying and engaging high-value prospective customers, positioning Altan Hidrolik’s capabilities, and laying the foundation for long-term partnerships. The ideal candidate will not only open new business opportunities but also become a trusted advisor to prospective customers, guiding them through the early stages of collaboration by understanding their technical needs, aligning solutions, and building confidence in our ability to deliver.

Job Description
  • Identify and prioritize potential strategic customers aligned with Altan Hidrolik’s growth objectives and value proposition.
  • Create technical proposals and project presentations that align with customer needs.
  • Initiate contact or follow the serial customers frequently, secure meetings, and deliver tailored presentations that highlight our capabilities and value proposition.
  • Organize and coordinate factory visits and early-stage technical discussions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer challenges, advising on potential solutions, and demonstrating how Altan Hidrolik can add value.
  • Facilitate high-level feasibility checks with internal technical teams to qualify opportunities.
  • Log all activities, contacts, customer visits and progress in the CRM system.
  • Represent the company at industry events and exhibitions, engaging with potential customers and capturing leads for follow-up.
  • Engage with customers across product lines: custom hose assemblies, hydraulic systems, flanges, measurement instruments, brake/clutch systems, and specialized defense solutions.
  • Coordinate between internal teams—R , engineering, production, logistics, and service—to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B business development, technical sales, or account acquisition (automotive, defense, or manufacturing industry preferred).
  • Strong understanding of engineered products, manufacturing processes, and OEM procurement dynamics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess customer needs, qualify opportunities, and align them with company capabilities.
  • Proven ability to build trust with technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Turkish and English.
  • Proficient in CRM tools and MS Office.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently to open new opportunities.
  • Willingness to travel regularly, both domestically and internationally.
