Job description

We are looking for a “Sales Engineer” to manage domestic and international sales processes for our client, a gear manufacturing company based in İzmir. The position will report directly to the Sales Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or similar departments from universities
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project sales (particularly in machinery, defense, or automotive sectors)
  • Proficient in technical reading/writing and preparing presentations
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and preferably ERP software
  • Advanced level of English proficiency
  • Military service completed (for male candidates)
  • No travel restrictions
  • Residing or able to reside in Izmir

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop project-based solutions for machinery and system sales to industrial facilities
  • Analyze potential projects and prepare technical and commercial proposals
  • Conduct customer visits to perform needs analysis and present solution proposals
  • Actively participate in all stages of the sales process (proposal, contract, delivery, and after-sales)
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and technical teams
  • Track new projects and report progress in line with sales targets
