Job summary

ManpowerGroup Türkiye is seeking a Production Manager for a Rolling Mill located in Bulgaria. You will lead and develop the Rolling Mill team, plan production schedules, and drive improvements to maximise productivity and ensure safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, technical understanding of metallurgical processes, and the ability to manage in a high-pressure, dynamic environment. English fluency and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Metallurgical or Chemical industry.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
• Ability to interpret technical standards and client specifications.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and management of Rolling Mill operations, ensuring targets and quality goals are met.
• Lead, motivate, and develop Rolling Mill teams through performance management and coaching.
• Plan, implement, and monitor production schedules to maximise productivity and minimise downtime.
• Monitor KPIs, production performance, and equipment reliability; implement corrective actions.
• Manage workforce planning, shift scheduling, attendance, and employee development.
• Drive continuous improvement via Lean Manufacturing to reduce waste and improve processes.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance to coordinate preventive maintenance and continuity.
• Ensure OHSA, safety, environmental, and quality standards compliance and policy adherence.
• Provide strategic operational reporting to senior management and escalate critical issues.
