Job description
Overview

The University of Hong Kong invites applications for the position of Research Assistant in Economic Policy at the Asia Global Institute. The appointment is full-time, intended to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal upon satisfactory performance.

Responsibilities
  • Work on policy research projects related to the evolving geoeconomic landscape, restructuring global supply chains, the digital economy and trade, and industrial policy under the supervision of the Director of Asia Global Institute.
  • Collaborate in a team on 2-3 projects concurrently.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate or master’s degree (master’s preferred) in Economics, Public Policy, or related fields.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to conduct research independently.
