Job summary

SmartMessage is seeking a Software Developer to join our globally expanding team. You will take part in the full software development life cycle, write testable code, document work, and ensure delivery within limits and under adverse conditions.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Computer Engineering or related field, 4+ years of .NET/.NET Core experience with C#, and hands-on knowledge of microservices, databases (Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB), and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in .NET/.NET Core development with C#.
• Experience with REST/SOAP Web API and Windows services.
• Knowledge of microservice architecture and distributed systems.
• Hands-on DB experience: Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Familiarity with ORM tools such as EF Core/NHibernate.
• Solid understanding of design patterns and SOLID principles.
• Experience with Git/Git workflows and CI/CD (GitLab).
• Agile/Scrum methodology experience and Jira usage.
• Experience with messaging systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility at every stage of the software development life cycle.
• Write testable code adhering to standards and perform testing.
• Test deliveries under limit values and adverse conditions.
• Document the software and prepare version control artifacts.
• Prepare necessary docs and tools for software transitions.
