Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Türkiye is seeking a HUB Machinery Safety Specialist to lead machine safety across the APMEA region from the Dilovası CMC factory. You will oversee risk assessment, functional safety, safeguarding, and training to raise technical competency at local sites.

The role requires a CMSE certification, 10+ years in machine safety, and ability to travel regionally. Strong English and Turkish skills are required; collaboration with regional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics Engineering or similar field.
• 10+ years of experience in machine safety and risk assessment.
• CMSE certification or similar recognized qualification.
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Lead assessments of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams for safety.
• Safeguard machinery and equipment to meet standards.
• Lead risk assessment initiatives and mitigation for machine safety.
• Provide machine safety training and develop technical competency.
• Drive deployment of internal safety standards across sites.
• Support incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Improve machine safety processes through regional collaboration.
• Advise on safety risk for capital projects with suppliers.
