Job summary

Fountain Tire Vulcan is seeking a skilled Red Seal Automotive Service Technician to join our team. You will diagnose malfunctions, perform repairs, and complete wheel alignments on a variety of vehicles to manufacturer specifications.

We offer competitive wages of $30 to $40 per hour, a $1500 signing bonus after 90 days, health, dental and vision benefits, a retirement savings plan with company matching, and regular day shifts with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be a Red Seal in the Automotive Service Technician trade.
• Strong knowledge of automotive industry and skills required to provide mechanical service to customers.
• A diagnostic specialist that enjoys keeping up with modern technology.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to providing a superior customer experience.
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory driver’s abstract annually.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose the cause of malfunctions on customer vehicles.
• Perform appropriate repairs with accuracy and efficiency.
• Complete wheel alignments on a variety of vehicles.
• Complete approved service on customer vehicles.
• Test and adjust vehicle systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications.
• Perform scheduled maintenance services (oil changes, lubrications, tune ups).
• Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
• Maintain mechanical service equipment on a schedule.
• Operate company and customer vehicles in a safe manner.
• Support customer relationships by responding to inquiries.
