Job summary

Fountain Tire Whitecourt is seeking a responsible, safe and dedicated associate to join our team as a Commercial Tire Technician. You will work on a variety of tires and vehicles, performing inspections, installations, balancing and repairs with a focus on safety and customer service.

We offer competitive wages CAD 20–26 per hour based on experience, comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits, RRSP with company matching, and ongoing training with opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of commercial tire experience in a professional setting.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to provide a satisfactory driver’s abstract.
• Able to lift up to 100 pounds if required.
• Physical, outdoor and customer-facing work with potential on-call after hours.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, install, balance, rotate, and/or repair truck, farm, industrial and/or OTR tires.
• Greet and communicate with customers on all aspects of repair, service and tire sales.
• Provide professional and friendly customer service.
• Maintain safety for yourself and coworkers on the job.

Whatkind of person are we looking for?

• We are looking for someone with at least 1 year of commercial tire experience in a professional setting

• This work can unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, windy etc. and we need someone who willbe up for the challenge
• We need someone who can be on call after hours
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds if required
