Job summary

SevenApps seeks a React Native Developer to join our crew, building and maintaining mobile applications across platforms. You will contribute across multiple apps with end-to-end development lifecycle and collaborate with product, design, and development stakeholders.

You’ll work with cross-functional teams to ship features in a Turborepo monorepo, extend shared packages, and deploy RN features on Expo for iOS and Android.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a React Native developer.

• Strong understanding of REST APIs and offline storage.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks Vitest, Argent, Maestro, Playwright.
• Experience with payment processors (Paddle, Zotlo, Adapty).

Responsibilities

We’re now looking for a React (Web/Native) Developer to join our crew.

About the Role

As a React Native Developer, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining our mobile applications. You will contribute across multiple applications and be involved in the end-to-end development lifecycle.

You’ll be working with cross-functional team members including product, design, and development stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

• Build pixel-perfect, responsive UIs for our Next.js product and marketing apps (chat, paywalls, onboarding, settings) from product designs, using React, TypeScript, Tailwind, and our shared component library
• Ship features and bug fixes in a Turborepo + pnpm monorepo: locale-aware pages, Clerk auth, Zotlo billing/entitlements, PostHog flags, and GTM/PostHog analytics — matching the patterns already in the app, not inventing a parallel stack
• Diagnose and fix production issues across web apps (hydration, routing, i18n, checkout, feature flags, Sentry errors) and land small, reviewable PRs that pass lint, typecheck, and the relevant tests
• Work with product, design, and backend to hit business goals: new surfaces, paywall/plan changes, event tracking, and A/B tests without breaking existing locales or shared packages
• Extend and reuse shared `@sevenapps/*` packages (UI kit, app shell, paywalls, onboarding, remote config, analytics) across ~20 Expo apps — prefer existing APIs over one-off app code
• Ship React Native features on Expo (Router, Reanimated, Uniwind/`className`) for iOS and Android with strict TypeScript, Zustand, and TanStack Query
• Debug and unblock native-adjacent issues (prebuild, simulators/devices, signing via Fastlane when needed) and keep Firebase, Adapty, AppsFlyer, and Sentry wiring consistent with house patterns

What We’re Looking For

Must-have

• Proven experience as a React Native Developer
• Experience working with Expo managed projects
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, request/response model, and offline storage
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Knowledge in testing frameworks such as Vitest, Argent, Maestro, Playwright.
• Experience with payment processors (Paddle, Zotlo, Adapty)
• Obsession with little details

Nice to have

• Experience with Tailwind CSS
• Experience with Zustand
