Job summary

Retry Apps seeks a Mid-Level React Native Developer to build and maintain consumer mobile applications for iOS and Android from Kadıköy. You’ll translate ideas into production-ready features, optimize performance, and collaborate with native modules when needed.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years React Native, TypeScript, REST APIs, and AI-assisted coding experience, plus a keen eye for code quality and the ability to review AI-generated code critically.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional React Native experience.
• Strong experience with TypeScript.
• Experience building and maintaining production React Native applications.
• Experience working with native modules / native integrations.
• Working knowledge of Swift for iOS and Kotlin for Android.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and third-party SDKs.
• Good understanding of React Native performance, debugging, navigation, state management, and application lifecycle.
• Experience with Git and modern development workflows.
• Experience debugging production issues, crashes, and platform-specific problems.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar.
• Ability to review, understand, and improve AI-generated code rather than relying on it blindly

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features across our React Native applications
• Develop features from idea to production
• Work with native iOS and Android code when React Native alone is not enough
• Build or integrate native modules using Swift and Kotlin
• Integrate third-party SDKs and APIs
• Investigate and resolve bugs, crashes, and performance issues
• Contribute to App Store and Google Play release processes
• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve development speed and productivity
• Collaborate on technical decisions, architecture, and code quality
