Job summary

Solenis is seeking an Associate Scientist to join its R&D team. The role supports marketing, sales and supply chain with technical/R&D activities, focusing on day-to-day lab work and project-based formulation development.

Responsibilities include analytical testing, product formulation, coordinating with global labs, reporting findings, and contributing to profitability through sourcing and testing initiatives. Strong English and MS-Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from Chemistry of a reputable university.
• Masters in Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or equivalent will be an advantage
• Up to 2 years experience in related area (Chemical know–how).
• Knowledge of analytical chemistry, analytical testing and instrumentation preferred.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English; MS-Office proficiency.
• No military obligation for male candidates

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on laboratory tasks to support all queries related to Solenis portfolio: I&L, F&B, I&S – C&S.
• Perform product and raw material physical-chemical analysis according to project needs.
• Develop product formulations as per project requirements and prepare development reports.
• Coordinate with application laboratories/formulators worldwide and field teams for testing.
• Perform benchmark studies and reverse engineering to evaluate competitor products.
• Deliver profitability improvement through formulation and sourcing/marketing initiatives.
• Conduct literature research and support day-to-day lab operations.
• Be the technical R&D contact to sales and marketing; generate timely reports.
