Job summary

İspak Ambalaj, a member of Kibar Group, seeks a Quality Control Executive to drive the effective implementation of quality processes and continuous improvement across operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science with at least 5 years in packaging quality, strong knowledge of GMP, QA practices, and SAP proficiency, plus good English. Leadership and collaboration skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science (Chemical or Food related fields preferred).
• At least 5 years of quality experience in packaging.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and audit processes.
• Proficiency in GMP and QA practices.
• Good command of English.
• Proficiency in SAP and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and sustain the Quality Management System.
• Coordinate production, incoming and customer quality processes.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, environmental and OH&S standards.
• Plan and improve QC processes for materials and products.
• Manage supplier quality evaluation and audits.
• Analyze complaints and drive corrective actions.
• Ensure quality criteria are defined in new product development.
• Report lab results and share findings with departments.
• Lead the Quality Control team and training activities.
• Promote continuous improvement across processes.

Job description

We are looking for a Quality Control Executive to join İspak Ambalaj, one of the companies within Kibar Group, who will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of quality processes and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance the effectiveness of the Quality Management System and ensure its sustainability.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the company’s quality policies and objectives, ensuring their effective communication throughout the organization.
• Coordinate and monitor production quality, incoming quality control, and customer quality processes.
• Support compliance with GMP, food safety, environmental, and occupational health and safety standards, and monitor the effectiveness of related practices.
• Plan, execute, and improve quality control processes for raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished products.
• Manage supplier quality evaluation, performance monitoring, and audit processes.
• Analyze customer complaints, conduct root cause analyses, and follow up on the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure that quality criteria are defined and validated throughout new product development processes.
• Evaluate and report laboratory test and analysis results, sharing findings with relevant departments.
• Identify and analyze quality issues arising in production processes and implement sustainable improvement initiatives.
• Analyze and report quality performance indicators and develop improvement action plans.
• Ensure that production processes comply with applicable quality standards and procedures.
• Manage the Quality Control team and plan team members’ training and development activities.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and actively participate in process improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science, preferably in Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, or Metallurgical and Materials Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in quality within the packaging industry.
• Knowledge of quality management systems, audit processes, and quality standards.
• Proficiency in GMP and quality assurance practices.
• Good command of English.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and SAP.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
• Strong planning, organizational, and follow-up skills.
• Demonstrated team management and coordination capabilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
