Job summary

Precision Walls is seeking a Bilingual Safety Coordinator - OSHA 30 to join our team. This role focuses on safety across all phases of branch operations, enforcing safety practices, conducting orientations, and supporting field personnel with training on tools and equipment.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of commercial construction safety experience, OSHA 30 certification, and is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of commercial construction safety experience.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Precision Walls Trained Trainer certification or equivalent training provided by Branch Safety team.

Responsibilities

• All phases of branch Safety / Lean Support and Enforcement.
• Safety Checklist / Lean Checklist Inspections.
• Conduct New Hire Orientations and Skill Assessments; provide supportive documentation.
• Provide training and licensing for field personnel on tools and equipment.
• Support Management in creating New Job Start Up safety documents (JSSP/SSSP, OCIP-CCIP).
• Ensure a safe and healthy work environment in line with OSHA guidelines.
• Accompany injured employees and support with medical appointments until full duty.
• Complete documentation for accidents or property damage.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• All phases of branch Safety / Lean Support and Enforcement.
• Safety Checklist / Lean Checklist Inspections.
• Conduct New Hire Orientations and Skill Assessments (when required). Supportive documentation.
• Provide training and licensing for field personnel task to work with tools and equipment i.e. Hilti Tools, MEWPs, Lull & Forklift operations, Scaffolds, Ladders and Stilts.
• Support Management team in creating New Job Start Up requirements i.e. contract safety documents, JSSP/ SSSP, OCIP -CCIP requirement etc.
• Ensures a Safe and Healthy work environment that adheres with OSHA guidelines.
• Accompany and support injured employees, attend initial doctor appointments, support until employee is released to full duty.
• Ensures all documentation is completed for any Accident, Incident or Property Damage.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements / Experience

• 1 to 2 years in commercial construction safety experience.
• Has knowledge of desktop computers, laptops, iPad, smartphones, and various other electronic devises.
• OSHA 30.
• Precision Walls Trained Trainer (provided by a Branch Safety Coordinator, Safety QQC, Safety Manager or Branch supporting SQRM).
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
