Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering disciplines such as Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Materials and Metallurgical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain / Procurement (preferably in the Aviation industry)
  • Knowledge and experience in supply chain management (preferably in Aviation)
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as plastic injection molding, machining, composite materials, and vacuum forming
  • Ability to understand the properties and applications of components used in aviation
  • Strong command of English, both technical and communicative
  • Strong skills in supplier management, negotiation, and contract administration
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (preferably AXAPTA)
  • High reporting capability.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct market research to identify domestic and international suppliers for required products.
  • Take an analytical approach to cost and lead time management.
  • Actively contribute to achieving project cost and timing targets.
  • Manage procurement processes for components and materials in serial production projects.
  • Play an active role in supply chain planning and analyzing material requests.
  • Manage the supplier network in the aviation industry and identify new suppliers.
  • Conduct supplier evaluations based on pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with the Supplier Technical Assurance (STA) Department to follow up on supplier performance related to cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Efficiently manage procurement processes using ERP systems (preferably AXAPTA).
  • Conduct price negotiations with suppliers, define contract terms, and finalize agreements.
  • Optimize material stock and monitor inventory management processes.
  • Search for alternative components that can replace current parts when necessary.
  • Communicate technical quality requirements to suppliers in accordance with company procedures.
  • Ensure coordination by cooperating with internal teams throughout project processes.
  • Actively participate in quality system processes.
