GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a “Purchasing Manager” to be assigned within the Purchasing Division at the Kocaeli Plant of Assan Hanil, one of the Kibar Holding group companies.

Qualifications:

  • Graduated from Engineering departments of universities,
  • At least 5 years of experience in direct material procurement in the automotive sector,
  • Preferably with team management experience,
  • Good command of purchasing procedures, processes, tools and KPIs,
  • Experienced in purchasing budget preparation, reporting and performance management,
  • Experienced in contract management and commercial negotiations,
  • Able to drive actively,
  • Good command of SAP and MS Office programs,
  • Resides or will reside in Kocaeli or Sakarya.

Job Description:

  • Leading the direct material purchasing team,
  • Creating purchasing strategies in line with company objectives and coordinating their implementation,
  • Preparing monthly purchasing KPI and price trend reports and sharing them with executive management,
  • Monitoring and approving price updates with suppliers in line with escalation agreements,
  • Conducting periodic price negotiations in line with annual budget targets,
  • Managing alternative supplier research and evaluation processes,
  • Ensuring supplier selections in line with project objectives (delivery, cost, quality, logistics, etc.)
  • Ensuring that purchasing prices are in line with the budget and reporting deviations,
  • Coordinating continuous improvement activities in purchasing processes,
  • Establishing and maintaining customer-oriented cooperation relations with other departments,
  • Creating development plans of the purchasing team, determining training needs.
  • To lead and participate in management systems such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and sustainability studies, to carry out the necessary studies in line with these systems and to provide the necessary data & information.
