RISE Housing and Support Services is seeking a Part-Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to support the RISE Above program, an OASAS-licensed rehabilitation initiative. The role involves performing psychiatric evaluations, prescribing medications, and guiding medical staff to ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• NYS Department of Education Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner certification is required.
• 5+ years of experience with individuals living with serious mental illness or substance use diagnosis preferred.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure while directing and inspiring team members.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal boundaries; commitment to compassion, respect, positivity, and inclusion.
• Successful completion of background checks and valid driver’s license as per policy.

RISE Housing and Support Services has an opportunity for a Pyschiatric Nurse Practitioner to support our OASAS-licensed rehabilitation program, RISE Above. A successful candidate will enjoy inspiring their team while ensuring the program residents are receiving excellent support during their time us, as they work toward recovery from their substance use diagnosis.

RISE Offers a Part-Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

• A competitive salary of $95,000 to $115,000 per year for a 20 hour per week schedule
• $3,000 hiring bonus after 6 months of employment
