Job summary

Danish Refugee Council seeks a Protection Analysis Officer for its Gaziantep country office to lead data analysis, develop information products, and support partners with monitoring tools and training. The role focuses on safeguarding vulnerable displacement-affected populations and improving protection reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years practical experience in research or protection monitoring.
• Proven experience developing reports in protection-related themes.
• Excellent knowledge of qualitative research/protection monitoring methodologies.
• Knowledge of protection analysis framework and international law.
• Proficiency in MS Office, KoboToolbox, MAXQDA, PowerBI; R desirable.
• Fluent Turkish and proficiency in Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Lead on developing, updating, and rolling out data collection tools and methodologies.
• Analyze data from protection monitoring and draft narrative reports using KoboToolbox, MAXQDA, and PowerBI.
• Respond to ad hoc requests for information/analysis using protection data.
• Lead capacity building plans and trainings for enumerators and partners.
• Produce reports and briefs in coordination with the Protection Coordinator and stakeholders.
• Monitor data collection methodologies and improve tools with partners.
• Collaborate with Economic Recovery to integrate reporting across sectors.
• Support donor reporting and development of new concepts.
