Job summary

Baykar in Türkiye is seeking an Engine Electrical Systems Test and Failure Analysis Engineer to design, develop, and validate electrical power and communication architectures for piston and gas turbine engines used in UAVs.

You will lead test setup, perform fault analysis, coordinate with software, mechanical, and systems teams, and ensure MIL-STD environmental and qualification testing is completed, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with data acquisition systems and test equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical power systems and instrumentation.
• Defense/aerospace or automotive industry experience preferred.
• Ability to perform field troubleshooting and on-site testing.
• Strong communication and analytical thinking.
• Willingness to adapt to flexible working hours.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical power and communication system architectures for engines; wire and integrate engine test benches; conduct tests.
• Test starter-generator units and prepare reports.
• Perform fault detection and root cause analysis; follow up on repairs; perform field tests and report.
• Coordinate with software, mechanical, manufacturing, integration, and systems management teams.
• Plan MIL-STD-704F, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810 environmental and qualification tests for hardware.
• Conduct risk analyses, develop corrective actions, and document findings.
• Research and implement improvements for test systems.
