The Project Manager will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of HV Switchyards, HV OHL or cable lines, and Substation Engineering, Procurement and Construction linked to our solar power projects across Europe. Based in our Istanbul office, the selected candidate will coordinate all project activities from initiation to final delivery, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. The role requires periodic site visits and close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful and timely project execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage switchyard and substation installation projects from initial planning through to commissioning and handover;
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets in coordination with engineering, procurement, and construction teams;
• Monitor project progress and ensure milestones are met in line with contractual and technical requirements;
• Coordinate with engineering teams for technical documentation, designs, and approvals;
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and local authorities to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards;
• Perform regular site visits to supervise on-site activities, monitor performance, and resolve issues as needed;
• Prepare and present project status reports to internal management and external stakeholders;
• Support procurement and logistics planning related to substation, switchyard equipment and HV OHL or cable line;
• Manage project risks and initiate corrective actions when necessary;
• Ensure clear communication across project teams and act as the main point of contact for assigned projects.

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field;
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the energy or infrastructure sectors, with HV equipment and installation at 110kV, 220kV and 400kV;
• Prior involvement in switchyard, substation, or grid connection projects is highly desirable;
• Excellent project coordination and stakeholder management skills;
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle management and engineering processes;
• Proficient in MS Project or similar project planning tools;
• Willingness to travel within Europe on a regular basis;
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required;
• PMP certification or similar project management credentials are a plus.
