We are looking for a Project Engineer to join the Production Department of our organization in Turkey.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience
- Experience in electrical design, including Low Voltage (LV) projects
- Experience in automation project drawings and commissioning
- Proficiency in WSCAD or Eplan
- Knowledge of SAP PP and MM modules
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Knowledge of Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Lean Management, Production System tools and/or Six Sigma projects
- Knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Living in or willing to relocate to the Asian side of Istanbul
- Completed military service (for male candidates)
Job Responsibilities
1. Electrical Design & Technical Documentation
- Design and develop Low Voltage (LV) electrical projects and automation systems.
- Create high-quality electrical drawings and schematics using WSCAD or Eplan.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, specifications, and project documentation.
- Develop detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) for new control panels and electrical systems.
- Utilize AutoCAD and Solidworks for layout and mechanical-electrical integration tasks.
- Manage material movements and production data using SAP (PP and MM modules).
2. Project Management & Planning
- Create and manage project schedules, cost estimates, and regular status reports.
- Coordinate Production Planning by collaborating with internal stakeholders to align manufacturing capacities with project timelines.
- Lead the Commissioning phase of automation projects, ensuring systems are fully operational and meet quality standards.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, translating their needs into tailored engineering solutions.
3. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Knowledge in Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kaizen, and Lean Management to optimize production flow.
- Identify bottlenecks and execute Six Sigma continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
4. Quality & Supply Chain Coordination
- Evaluate and audit suppliers to ensure the quality of components and external services.
- Work closely with operations personnel and external subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution on-site.
- Ensure all projects comply with international electrical standards and safety regulations.
