NİJHUIS SAUR INDUSTRIES SU ARITMA TEKNOLOJİLERİ LTD.ŞTİ. in Türkiye part of Nijhuis Saur Industries – an international company leading in the field of water and waste technologies for the industrial sector, is looking to hire a Technical Engineer in Türkiye. We are looking for a specialist responsible for sales activities in Türkiye who is interested in long-term cooperation.

Position: Project Engineer

Location: Türkiye – preferably from Istanbul, but location is not a critical factor

The Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the integration of various engineering disciplines into unified solutions for our projects. This role demands deep technical expertise, advanced project management skills, and a commitment to ensuring design and construction compliance throughout all project phases, with a strong emphasis on wastewater treatment and anaerobic treatment processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Engineering Coordination: Coordinate and integrate designs from internal and external sources using CAD systems. Conduct calculations and prepare detailed technical specifications. Ensure that all designs comply with wastewater treatment standards, manufacturing requirements, industry regulations, and client needs.
• Technical Guidance and Support: Serve as the primary technical liaison for project scope discussions with clients and production units. Provide on-site support during the assembly and installation phases, ensuring adherence to wastewater treatment specifications. Offer expert guidance during project execution to ensure technical excellence and compliance.
• Project and Information Management: Manage technical coordination across various engineering teams. Oversee project documentation, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with relevant standards. Implement rigorous information management systems for efficient project execution.
• Reporting and Compliance Oversight: Monitor and evaluate project timelines and budgets, taking proactive steps to address any deviations. Ensure strict compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations related to wastewater treatment. Prepare regular progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Communication and Negotiation: Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of project goals and deliverables. Negotiate and discuss technical aspects with clients and suppliers, ensuring that all wastewater treatment specifications and requirements are met.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Environmental, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 3-5 years work experience in industrial wastewater treatment.

Experience:

• Extensive experience in wastewater treatment is mandatory, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in anaerobic treatment processes. Proven track record of managing complex engineering projects from design to completion.

Skills:

• Advanced knowledge of wastewater treatment engineering, design principles, and anaerobic treatment systems.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple aspects of projects independently.
• Proficiency in CAD systems and project management software.
• Fluency in Turkish (mandatory) and proficiency in English for technical communication.

Certifications:

• Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
