General Purpose of Role

Responsible for coordination of project plans, contractual arrangements, schedules, activities, and milestones in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by Worley. Supervises project personnel through subordinate leaders. Bridges the technical gap between the Project Manager and Engineers. Often functions as assistant project manager with an engineering background. Ascertains that engineering work is done according to plan by helping with design interpretation. Reviews bill of materials/project schedules/forecasts for accuracy.This role would apply to those with an engineering background.

Entry level project manager responsible for planning and execution on projects of limited complexity.Typically manages engineering for a portion of a project or a single project small in scope or complexity.Responsible for the daily administration of project and/or Worley policies and processes in order for the projects team to meet business objectives. Requires general knowledge of at least one technical/functional discipline.May serve as a proposal manager for small projects.

Qualifications, Accreditation, Training (Essential)

University degree or equivalent in engineering or equivalent experience with professional registration in local jurisdiction.

Qualifications, Accreditation, Training (Desirable)

Professional registration in local jurisdiction; Certified Project Management Professional by a globally recognized project management organization (IPMA, APM, PMI, AIPM).

Job Specific Knowledge / Experience (Essential)

Typically 8+ years engineering experience, including 5 to 7 years technical, supervisory and/or management experience, developing project management experience; E, EP project experience.

EPCM, EPC including site assignment; Workshare.
