We are seeking an Electrical Project Chief in the Renewable Energy Investments department at Çalık Enerji Headquarters in Istanbul.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a recognized university
• At least 7 years of experience in power plant projects, especially wind and solar, including licensing, permits, construction, and acceptance processes
• Experience in HV/MV Switchyard design and construction in AIS or GIS
• Experience with electrical site works in industrial or power plant projects, including procurement and subcontractor management
• Knowledge of energy projects, HV/MV Equipment, Switchyards, E-BOP works, earthing, commissioning, and SCADA
• Proficiency in MS Project, AUTOCAD, or related 3D simulation tools
• Strong MS Office skills
• Team player with analytical, practical, and solution-oriented mindset; enthusiastic, self-motivated, positive, and energetic
• Project management certification and understanding of contracts, construction law, and permitting
• Willing to reside in Istanbul and travel abroad as needed
• Completed military service for male candidates
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Possession of a Class B driver's license and active driving skills

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Assist the Project Manager in project management, focusing on scope, time, risk, and stakeholder management for WPP & SPP projects
• Conduct technical studies for new Wind and Solar Power Plant projects
• Implement contracts, prepare, and oversee work plans
• Request and evaluate offers from suppliers, including technical and commercial comparisons
• Follow up on electrical design and approval stages of WPP and SPP
• Review electrical engineering projects to ensure compliance with standards, grid connection, and site conditions
• Assess grid system reports and connection points
• Select electrical equipment for LV/MV/HV systems and define operational principles
• Prepare bills of quantity for OHL projects
• Monitor project specifications, E-BoQ, and RFQ documents for compliance and optimization
• Understand turbine models, solar modules, transmission lines, permits, and costs
• Optimize project CAPEX budgets according to market prices
• Prepare reports and correspondence for internal and external stakeholders
