This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the production line. The individual manages the flow of information between shifts, monitors production targets, resolves technical issues, and oversees employee training and compliance with safety regulations. They also play an active role in maintaining quality standards, controlling inventory, and driving continuous improvement processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive information from the Team Leader of the previous shift.
- Inform the Team Leader of the next shift.
- Forward received information to the Shift Manager.
- Follow up on series changes in the lines.
- Coordinate line openings and closings.
- Inform the Shift Manager of any improper production.
- Ensure production targets are met.
- Collaborate with line technicians to solve technical problems.
- Control raw material, semi-finished, and finished product stocks.
- Manage productivity, traceability, lot documentation, MPI, and TPMs.
- Maintain records related to production lines.
- Provide training to production operators.
- Ensure compliance with work safety rules.
- Maintain order and cleanliness at work stations, clothing, and equipment.
- Inform the Shift Manager about work stations, employee rotations, trainings, holidays, overtime, and schedules of missing operators, while also analyzing opportunities for improvement in production.
Education & Experience
- Knowledge of automotive quality standards (ISO 16949).
- Experience in quality control (MPI, SPC).
- Understanding of maintenance systems (TPM).
- Team management skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with 7S workplace organization method.
- Knowledge of ESD protocols.
