As an international company, we are looking for a Procurement Manager based in Türkiye office.

Qualifications:

  • Preferably a graduate of the Faculty of Engineering, with a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Energy Systems Engineering.
  • Preferably with at least 8 years of experience in domestic/international procurement of equipment, materials, and services for solar energy projects, and contract management,
  • Experienced in Technical Specifications and contract processes,
  • Capable of managing the procurement process in accordance with material lists, technical specifications, and proposals,
  • Able to support the creation of project budgets,
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with excellent negotiation and persuasive abilities,
  • Proficient in reporting and analysis,
  • Well-organized and adaptable to a dynamic work environment,
  • Open to innovation and development, capable of analytical thinking, and able to follow industry developments,
  • Proficient in MS Office applications,
  • Team player, with analytical thinking and analytical skills, proactive, open to change, innovative, and capable of generating new ideas,
  • Residing or willing to reside in Ankara,

Job Description:

  • Manage the pricing and procurement process for materials, equipment, and services during the project phase of solar energy plants in accordance with customer requests, technical specifications, company strategic goals, and quality standards within the framework of the procurement procedure.
  • Research appropriate supplier sources for suitable materials by monitoring industry developments in accordance with technical specifications and project requirements. Conduct on-site standard control in suppliers' production processes when necessary. Manage the contract process with suppliers.
  • Coordinate the necessary negotiation and bargaining processes for the revision of technically approved offers based on commercial criteria.
  • Prepare a procurement offer comparison file based on received offers. Place orders after completing the approval process.
  • Determine supplier evaluation and performance improvement goals based on product criticality/price matrix. Ensure the implementation of action plans.
  • Ensure timely delivery of orders and manage the return process for problematic materials.
  • Research alternative suppliers and materials in relevant material groups. Ensure that material and service purchases are managed in accordance with budget targets.
  • Provide periodic reporting on actions to be taken in the face of potential risks and opportunities in the market for the procurement processes under responsibility.
  • Ensure price control by comparing procurement invoices with orders.
  • Incorporate the purchased materials into project costs.
  • Obtain offers from identified suppliers based on request criteria. Coordinate the technical evaluation process with the technical department.
  • Follow up on the procurement contract processes.
  • Regularly analyze and prepare reports for the responsibilities under your supervision. Report to your manager.
  • Manage the process in coordination with Logistics and Accounting Units for materials purchased.
  • Track invoices for supplied products and services and keep project actual costs up to date.
  • Conduct subcontractor negotiations, prepare contracts, and manage the process.
  • Coordinate with the field to track processes in the contract and work in coordination with the relevant project manager.
  • Obtain offers from identified suppliers based on request criteria. Coordinate the technical evaluation process with the technical department.
