Overview

Energo-Pro Turkey was established in Ankara in 2010 and its current investments in our country are 1.33 billion USD. Energo-Pro produces 1.7 TWh of energy with 8 hydroelectric power plants with an installed capacity of 475 MW in Turkey.

We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Procurement Engineer to join our team at Energo-Pro Türkiye Head Office which is located in Çukurambar.

You will be responsible for managing and executing procurement activities related to the operation, maintenance, and optimization of the company’s hydroelectric power plants. The role involves identifying technical requirements, sourcing reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective and timely supply of equipment, spare parts, and services in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to understand technical requirements and translate them into procurement specifications.
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process for materials, spare parts, and services related to hydroelectric power plants.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate vendor capabilities, and develop a qualified supplier base.
  • Analyze bids, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal commercial and technical terms.
  • Ensure all procurement activities are aligned with company policies, budget constraints, and quality/safety standards.
  • Monitor supplier performance, manage contracts, and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or service.
  • Support cost-saving initiatives and contribute to long-term procurement strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and regulations affecting the renewable energy and hydropower sectors.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Departments
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in energy sector (Hydroelectric Power Plants)
  • Experience in Energy Sector preferably Hydroelectric Power Plants
  • Strong understanding of technical specifications for electromechanical equipment, turbines, generators,
  • Knowledge of procurement regulations, contract management, and supply chain best practices.
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and ERP systems
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Result oriented and ability to work with strict deadlines
