Plant Manufacturing Finance Executive for our pladis Turkey Gebze Factory.
What will be your key deliverables?
- Calculating and reviewing product standard and actual costs monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual base in accordance with pladis Global costing standards and transfer pricing guideline.
- Controlling and maintaining all of the costing parameters used in standard costing system,
- Propose actions to increase cost transparency and cost efficiency in the manufacturing
- Supporting synergy projects of pladis Global, to support the global teams with accurate, on time and consistent product costing,
- Preparation of profitability and feasibility analysis for all new product and line-extension projects,
- Analysis conversion cost and cost trends of plant to drive operational improvement in focused areas (manning, production routings, machine speeds, capacity usage, overall equipment effectiveness, electricity, water and natural gas usages.),
- Completing analysis of monthly operating variances (labor, energy, general production expenses and depreciation) and provide explanations to plant team and leadership,
- Controlling product recipes, ideal and alternative recipe management for standard costing in good agreement with R&D and production teams,
- Tracking compliance to product recipes, plant material balance losses, scrap and rework ratios
- Tracking purchasing prices based on original purchasing currency, order scales, alternative suppliers purchasing prices, and export initiatives,
- Leading of quarter and annual base plant inventory counting’s,
- Supporting budget preparation and financial forecasting process,
- Tracking and validating plant scorecards that includes KPI’s.
- Supporting efficiency and productivity initiatives for the plant, forecasting, tracking and validating plant productivity projects,
- Supporting plant master data management,
- Support management and business by compiling special information and analyses; preparing cost reduction recommendations. Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis for local and group purposes,
What do you need for this role?
- University degree preferably in Business, Economics and Industrial Engineering departments
- Strong experience (minimum 4-5 years) in product costing and manufacturing controlling,
- Experience in manufacturing environment is required (minimum 2-3 years)
- Principal understanding of accounting principles, financial statements.
- Fluent in English - both writing and speaking, (Interviews will be conducted in English)
- Good knowledge of SAP CO and FI. PP and MM modules will be an asset.
- Good knowledge of Excel and Power Point,
- Result-orientation,
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
- Self motivating, analytical thinker and excellent team player,
- Willingness to learn & deep-dive in order to understand and solve problems,
- No restriction for travelling in and out of country.
