Job summary

Magna International seeks a seasoned IT Manager to oversee the site-wide IT infrastructure, system reliability and cybersecurity practices. You will bridge production operations, engineering, and corporate IT/security teams, providing hands-on expertise and strategic guidance.

The role requires leadership experience, deep Windows IT knowledge, and the ability to protect manufacturing assets from cyber threats while ensuring uptime and compliance within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a computer/technology related field.
• Min 10 years of experience as a system admin in a manufacturing company.
• Minimum 2 years of management/leadership experience.
• Experience with automotive EDI systems and customer integrations (Ford).
• Fluent in English; German knowledge will be an asset.
• Willing to relocate to Kocaeli or live nearby.

Responsibilities

• Manage Windows systems environment and perform OS and patch testing before deployment.
• Oversee application systems, enforce policies, and monitor access.
• Maintain and deploy critical databases and applications to meet business needs.
• Lead IT operations and cybersecurity within the plant, aligned to IT/OT model.
• Coordinate with production, engineering and IT/security teams for cross-functional needs.
