Job summary

Magna International seeks a seasoned IT Manager to oversee the site-wide IT infrastructure, system reliability and cybersecurity practices. You will bridge production operations, engineering, and corporate IT/security teams, providing hands-on expertise and strategic guidance.

The role requires leadership experience, deep Windows IT knowledge, and the ability to protect manufacturing assets from cyber threats while ensuring uptime and compliance within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a computer/technology related field.
Min 10 years of experience as a system admin in a manufacturing company.
Minimum 2 years of management/leadership experience.
Experience with automotive EDI systems and customer integrations (Ford).
Fluent in English; German knowledge will be an asset.
Willing to relocate to Kocaeli or live nearby.

Responsibilities

Manage Windows systems environment and perform OS and patch testing before deployment.
Oversee application systems, enforce policies, and monitor access.
Maintain and deploy critical databases and applications to meet business needs.
Lead IT operations and cybersecurity within the plant, aligned to IT/OT model.
Coordinate with production, engineering and IT/security teams for cross-functional needs.
